The first exchange rate (in bold) is the rate for 1 Canadian dollar converted to 1 US dollar. 
(e.g., 1 Canadian dollar equaled .66 US dollars.) 

The second exchange rate (in parentheses) is the rate for 1 US dollar converted to 1 Canadian dollar.
(e.g., 1 US dollar equaled 1.5151 Canadian dollars.)
